Not really. Pig Destroyer doesn't have a lasting influence, and they definitely aren't as integral to the history of grindcore as Repulsion.

@shitsucks08 well you can't really make that claim yet...pig destroyer hasn't been around nearly as long as Repulsion. Repulsion is definitely a classic though, but if we're comparing them - I think they both write memorable music, and I'd give Pig destroyer a point for lyrics - because I'm always found them way more haunting and visceral, while repulsion's are more "usual metal" stuff.
