This is a very young baby moose that was rescued by a lady who found it caught in a fence. The moose spent the night with me and then in the morning I transported it to a nearby wildlife hospital. There he will be treated and an attempt will be made to foster him out to a new mother. My cats are veteran hosts, accustomed to me bringing home all sorts of animals. This however was quite a stretch for them. He was much more cordial than most of my rescue guests, especially compared to the half frozen, feral cats I've often sheltered.

@busafwine
Unfortunately there is no TNR program here. When they are rescued they are neutered, vaccinated, tattooed, socialized if necessary, and then adopted out. It is a great program but it doesn't deal with the volumes that TNR does.
