God even emphasized this in the book of Deuteronomy 18:21-22 where we read "You may say in your heart, 'How will we know the word which the LORD has not spoken?'  you know i attended a church in los angeles for a short time and i saw the same thing they taught that you could speak in tongues at will at any time ,without getting ministered by the presence of God and they prophesied quite often saying the lord says this and that, just like this lady,so i told them i'm sorry but i gotta go.

IMO so many preachers start out well intentioned, but become deluded by their own success. I believe in the five fold gifts of the spirit, but we're instructed to try the spirits, and do all things decently and in order. Yelling and screaming is no substitute for the anointing, and doesn't fool anyone.
