Can't blame everything on Satan. I blame the evil in man's heart. What sin have you committed that required Satan's help? From my personal experience, unfortunately, I have enough evil in my own heart without needing anyone's help.

If true, prophecy like in Revelation to be fulfilled.
-
Satan was the first to sin/rebellion against the direction God wanted him
to follow. Making Satan the father of sin. If he worked on Adam & Eve
to sin, surely he's working on everyone to this day. He plants the
thoughts..people can chose to act on it..but Satan's spirit
is always there, or one ofthe trillions of demons that
fell with him.
-
I think during OT times his anger was because of all the evil things man
and woman were getting into. But when they turned away from them,
God returned love.
-
Satan's plans may have been turned against him in the past.
He's a spirit being (invisible/untouchable) and isn't dead.
He won't be permanently stopped/crushed until he's
burned to ashes with sin and death..this hasn't
happened yet.

Does SOON in Roman 16 mean 2000+ years?
Or does soon mean imminent to the Christians in Rome during the 1st Century?
So, was Satan crushed in the 1st century?
If Satan was crushed, when did it take place?
70 AD?
Would this be the casting of Satan into the lake of fire?
Is it necessary to believe that Satan is still alive and not well to be a Christian?
-
Agree - we don't need Satan to have evil. I always like to ask people what sin they have ever committed that required Satan's help.
-
But if Jesus crossed Satan at the cross, then shouldn't Romans 16 say that God has already crushed Satan? But it doesn't say that.
Although I haven't studied the context recently, it would appear that Paul was addressing a particular spiritual issue the Romans were dealing with.
Look, this position of preterists here is frankly dangerous. Satan would like nothing more than for saints to "set aside" their armor of God, deluded into thinking Satan is a powerless foe, bound in the pit.
-
All this religious nonsense about satan begs a simple question: who is the boss then, God or Satan? If God can crush Satan what is He waiting for?

The Old Testament wrathful Jehovah of fundamentalists, 'a jealous god', 'lord of this world', the god who throws a tantrum because knowing good from evil made man 'know they are gods, like Us' is 'Satan'. The God of Jesus is 'the Elohim', the Incomprehensible Unity hidden in and beyond the physical universe, the 'Infinite Light of Nothing' of which all things are manifestations that 'live and move and have their being', 'quantum foam' and awareness of it is the 'Christ within' and it is 'Love'.

If this guy doesn't think Satan is alive and well on planet earth he's deluded. He needs to leave his air conditioned office and take a trip to India or Saudi Arabia or even Harlem.

Man's sin is due to man's sin, not to Satan. MAN is the chief agent of evil in the world. If Satan had been destroyed completely then the world would still be an evil place due to the total depravity of man. The world is a bad place because of OUR sin. Be responsible! Stop blaming your own sin on Satan!

Who's blaming their sin on Satan? I guess when Peter said "your adversary the devil walks about seeking whom he may devour" he was just be poetic.

Let me ask you:
Who is the chief agent of evil in the world: Man or Satan?
