Antonio Salieri`s finale of "Les Danaides." Lyncee succeeds in killing les Danaides and rescuing their sister, Hypermnestre. In the Underworld, demons promise an enternity of suffering to les Danaides and their father, Danaus.
When was this written relative to Mozart's Don Giovanni--another opera with a finale in which demons appear to announce someone's damnation? There are a few motifs very similar in the music.

@Kenchely
Salieri's 'Les Danaïdes' (1784) was from several years before Mozart's 'Don Giovanni' (1787).
