@ocelot113 Well I actually listened to him before. I get this sense that he is anti authority. he thinks authoritarianism is bad for humanity. He think the government when they make a law intended for good or bad. Is bad because it forces ppl to pay or to enfroll in a problem. However i find this to be a bit condrictary because ok with forcing moral values down our throats and he ok with beleive god as an super authority figure.

We should remember that broader context that people have when dealing with virtually anyone. When we don't, we tend to view people through a stereotype or cartoon, and I think this is much of the cause of political and sociological polarization. There's concrete reasons why people believe what they believe, and its dependent on life experiences and perspectives that we, ourselves, might not necessarily share.

@cynicalotter "... until people start taking his bullshit for gospel." Everyone goes through that with someone or some news channel or whatever. People are easily manipulated, but Beck does his best to prove beyond a resonable doubt before spouting off. He'd admit he sometimes gets anxious and speaks before fully understanding things or "lies" as the news enjoys reporting but more often than not he brings it up to appologies the next show. That doesn't make the headlines though.

@cynicalotter I have been listening to GB since Reps nominated John McCain (are you kidding me). It really is increadible the things that people parrot to me that Beck "said". I listen to his 3 hour morning show pretty much every day and people love to hate Beck and the news knows it. I'd confidently say 75% or more are out of context or intentionally misleading edits to get people to watch or buy. NOONE can be defined by a headline and that goes for President Obama himself.

This makes me kinder in evaluating people in my own life, especially at work. That asshole at work might just have made a wrong decision because he's flawed, and I'm OK with him now.
