One of the great English actors along with Ralph Richardson. John Gielgud, and Laurence Olivier. All classicly trained in the Shakespearean tradition but capable of widely varied roles as their careers showed.

I've never seen an interview with him lol.
With his tone.. I can't think of anything but Star Wars lol..
I keep expecting him to say "You must do what you think is right of course.." And shit like that hahah

Alec Guiness was a famous dolphin right?
-
I heard he couldnt stand Star Wars fans and didnt like people remembering him for those movies lol.

for us modern moviegoers, to have been a part of Star Wars is pure epicness, but Sir Alec Guinness comes from the early part of the 20th Century known as the Golden Age of Movies that were so epic that they became the stuff of legends and inspiration for even George Lucas and his Modern Star Wars film. For this Reason, one can see why Sir Alec was quite discomforted to know that the majority of later generations today only remembers him for some modern flick of the late 70's

Some of the most Blessed people on this earth are the most subdued, modest, and quite conservative by nature. One of them would be Sir Alec Guinness!

@KenFromBeara Exactly, I remember him from "The Ladykillers" "Smiley's People" just to name a few.
This is wonderful. He didn't give many interviews.
Letterman was lucky that he agreed to come on.
Thanks for posting the second part.
