This tip allows you to join two or more boards edge to edge with perfect alignment. You can make table tops out of solid hardwood. And you gain the advantage of not sanding through the veneer of plywood. Plus the solid hardwood tops withstand the test of time and will last your lifetime.
This is a simple technique that any woodworker can do with their router table. The nice part is that it works every time.

    You are correct. The edges of the board should be square & flat. You can edge joint the board with your router table.
