Another gem from ESPN and their resident smarta$$ Colin Cowherd on his radio show, The Herd. I'm not a Yankees or Rays fan and I don't hate the Red Sox or even dislike them. I just thought it was funny. I know there's already a video on this, oh well...........anyways, back to making crappy guitar covers for me. But before I do that, I don't own any of the audio or pictures from this video. Thanks.

  • you can say what you want. we are the best sports city of the centrury, we have 7… count them 7 championships in 10 years. How much does your city have?

  • @jonathanlancer no one's doubting the success they've had, they've been the best sports city in the past 10 years but the Red Sox still collapsed, the Yankees choked in 2004 and people were making fun of them back then too, don't complain to me

  • @drdontcare123 guess what buddy. im from boston, and a huge boston sports fan. i could not give 2 shits about not making the playoffs this year. wanna know why? bc we won 2 in the past 7 years you obnoxious fcuk.

people who ARE NOT from New England think this is hilarious that the sox missed the playoffs. let me fill you in:

before 2004 it would have been another devastation, but now it doesnt really matter. people who blindly hate the boston care more about this than actual bostonians.

  • @grimeygoat27 well guess what, like I said before, the Red Sox still collapsed. That's great that you don't care, it doesn't make it any less significant. I already said in my previous post that Boston has been the best sports town in the past 10 years. You know who else doesn't care much about the collapse? Me, but like I said in the info, I thought what Cowherd said was funny and I don't even hate the Red Sox. And I'm the "obnoxious fcuk"?

  • Cowherd isn't talking about sports success as a measure of a great sports city, he's talking about attitude and love of sports- all sports. Television ratings in Boston are terrible for any of the major championships if a Boston team isn't playing. Even ratings for the Olympics are terrible in Boston. In other words, Boston only loves Boston sports. That makes them a bad sports city. That's his point.

  • @jonathanlancer So Boston teams have 7 championships in 10 years and you consider your city the best sports team of the CENTURY? You do know that a century is 100 years, don't you? The Yankees may have hit a bad patch but they alone have something like 25% of the championships in one century. How many does your city have? And how long was the Red Sox championship drought?

    BTW, you misspelled century.

  • @x508gamingHD oh and the NEW YORK RANGERS are in first place in the east so New York > Boston

  • @x508gamingHD and The NEW YORK GIANTS beat the Pats AGAIN, Yankees and Giants > Red Sox Patriots

  • Lmao Collin is just jealous. Sure, the sox didnt make the playoffs. But the Rays or Yankees didnt do anything in the playoffs. Also, our Patriots went to the superbowl. The Bruins are in 2nd place. The sox are a totally different team this year. So take that back you bias over rated broadcaster bitch.

  • @jonathanlancer

Boston best sports city of the century? Um, I believe New York City area teams have more titles than Boston.

Sure, Boston has 7 since the start of the new Millennium, but New York City area teams have 6 at the same time.

Also, overall Big Four Pro Sports Leagues titles won:

    NYC 59, BOS 34

  • *(Continued) It is terrible when that happens to fans and I know you're just as dedicated to the Red Sox as I am to the White Sox. And I see this pain every year with the Cubs fans in this city. SO I am sorry and I hauled the post down. Lets agree on one thing: I hope neither of us have to live through that again :-)

  • $800,000 Total Payroll for Tampa Bay Rays :-) Ahhh HA HA HA! I'd take the PIZZA place too..Florida has AWFUL pizza..I could turn that around. Steven B I have to say I thought a bit about what I said and you ARE right. I am from Chicago and I remember 2005 and what was happening to US in the last weeks. That slide was terror like I've never felt particularly given the fact that we had such an unbelievably powerful team. We wrapped it up with a few days left but it WAS the worst. *(Continued)

  • @ChristopherSaindon Actually it's not. there has been worse. who cares if they collapsed. At least I'm not hopping in the bandwaggon unlike you. STFU
