@SaintMeran nope he was BORN in the city he wasn't sent there by anyone, obviously. I'm not surprised that he left though. Eastern Europe is horrible even today let alone back then

Vampire Over London was the same film as Mother Riley Meets the Vampire, and 'My Son, The Vampire'.'Old Mother Riley was ridiculous, and I truly felt he tried to make a fool out of Bela...but he didn't suceed. Lugosi had style and grace, and was too good for most of the roles he played.

I wish he could of gotten a chance to do a film as Cyrano. I think it would be interesting.

Anyone who thinks Bela Lugosi was "just Dracula" shouldn't be watching this interview.
