The Berkeley Recorder Orchestra's debut concert Oct 30, 2010 at St. David of Wales in Richmond, CA. Letitia Berlin directs her arrangement of Vivaldi's Concerto Op. 3 no 2, 2: Allegro. SO MUCH FUN!!!

Recorded with a Flip HD, which doesn't really like the higher recorder frequencies, so turn your volume down a little if it's too raw for you.

  • I always think recorder is a stupid musical instrument until I watch this. The song sounds so beautiful.

  • @anakid123 Well ya. I have a wooden soprano and a plastic soprano. Both very hard to play at first, but they're just plain beautiful. If your recorder is 12 3/4'' and about an inch wide, then it's a soprano. So just use a ruler to measure it. That's how you can find out.

  • I just started learning the recorder today. I don't know what type of recorder I own (soprano, alto, etc) but it is not an easy instrument to learn for me. Thanks for sharing this video!

  • All Right!!! I can't say enough about that great intonation. And then there's that incredible tonguing. These are some really talented individuals who took it to the next level and played as a talented ensemble - not a easy feat. Bravo!

  • Beautiful! Thanks for sharing with us!

  • Thanks for recording the concert and posting this, Glen!
