Walls of flame roared across southeastern Australia, razing scores of homes, forests and farmland in the country's worst wildfire disaster in a quarter century. (Feb. 8)
2. Arson is already punishable by a lengthy prison term
and
3 and most importantly Australians DO NOT support the DEATH PENALTY and anyway it would cost too much to reassemble gallows (hanging was the only method ever used in Australia)
people quite posting bull shit conspiracies and talking about what to invest in to put the fires out bla bla bla. the truth is that these fires spread at an alarming rate and extremely difficult to put out with fast wind speeds. people said the flames looked like tornados that devoured homes within 5 minutes. my heart goes out to these people, i love australia, i lived there for about 19 months and love the people.
Australia needs the Beriev BE-200 fire fighting aircraft. many of them. the lease contract of the Skycrane is such a sweet business, any attempt to get other and larger equipment is ignored. there could be not enough Skycranes doing the job, get even more. but use other equipment too. also, arson should be punished with not less than 30 years behind bars. or better, execution...
get a life...or give yourself a bullet. enough of you conspiracy people. the moment some shit is happening it is a terror thing and each time its those Muslims you people blame. yeah, terrorists (Muslims of course) were sitting in the bush and praying to Allah to make it a really hot day. but reading from your profile we clearly see that what sort of person you are. and don't fucking reply to me, you are below any persons level.
i agree with point 2 and 3. but saying Australia does not have money is a little too much :))

Fair point with a few minor drawbacks
1. we don't have the money to by the Aircraft.
2. Arson is already punishable by a lengthy prison term
and

I agree. Should be done..dont just let 'em burn. The press love these sort of things though. Gets 'em all excited and sentimental.
