steam is vapor its just water it looks harmful but its not

Boy, jose, you've never seen a steam burn, have you? When steam hits something cooler, like skin, it condenses and releases an *enormous* amount of heat. People caught near a steam explosion get scalded and horribly burned. It used to kill hundreds of people every year when it was a primary heating system for buildings.
