Yes hes good but imo the drummer of gojira ( deathmetal ) Mario Duplantier is just as stylish as chad.

Chad kind of destroyed the drummer of 'E-ha'. She was playing it safe, nothing special really. While Chad was just having a great time.

Chad is my favorite drummer. He is groovy.
I really don't like the drummers who are like robots. For example, death metal drummers. Yeah they're fast, but not really amazing. They abused the double pedal too much and Chad Smith doesn't use that. I love Chad Smith. He is the best there is and he is good at what he does and you can tell that he is having fun. Not like these straight faced drummers that don't have emotions when they're playing drums.

chad may not have the technical ability of drummers like will calhoun, dennis chambers, carter beauford, weckle etc. but he's the coolest drummer in the world
