  • SAVE THAT METHI WATER AND USE IT WHEN U MAKE ROTI AND PARATHA...........THAN IT BECOMES METHI ROTI / METHI PARATHA.U GUYS R GREATTTTTTTTTTTTT.

  • @sonusonu20 : That is a great idea but careful, as there is a lot of salt in that water.

  • Hi ladies, I made this tonight, and it is delicious! I cheated a bit and used dried methi leaves -- I'm sure it's better with fresh leaves, and when I get some, I'll try it again. My version also came out quite spicy, as I didn't take the seeds out of the green chili (okay by me, as I like spicy). One question: where did you get your wok/frying pan? I used a regular large pan (not a non-stick one), and now I have potato muck stuck to the bottom. I'd love to have one like yours!

You can find a similar one at Bed, Bath & Beyond.

  • Thank you, Hetal and Anuja. This looks marvelous! And easy to try. I am just learning to cook Indian food, and tomorrow I'm planning on making a foray to a local Indian market (we're lucky to have many in my area) to buy some spices and things. Do you have any recommendations? I look forward to watching your other videos!

We have a couple of videos called "Stocking Your Pantry for Indian Cooking". The quality is a little off (they are really old) but they might be helpful to you.

  • Definitely one of my favourite curries. My childhood friend's mum used to make it all the time. I haven't found a restaurant in town that makes it so i'm sooooooo grateful for the recipe. Thanks tons!

  • you can try adding some amchur powder...gives a distinct falour (omit tomatoes in that case.. )

  • your page is great just found it today

  • @keonalovesmakeup : Raw potatoes - just washed, peeled and cubed.

  • That looks very good.
