This is the type of kennel that is allowed under existing USDA and State of Missouri licensing regulations. They have no USDA violations.
Wire floors, stacked cages no room for exercise, never getting out of these cages, and probably de-barked (though hopefully by a vet at least). Most likely bred every 6 months until worn out.
But all legal. That's why Proposition B in Missouri was so essential.
If I drove by this dump I would release all the animals! How horrible that puppy mills exist. No reputable breeder would ever treat an animal like this. They are caged for years, never touched or exercised, no vet care, left out in the elements and many die and why does this go one? Because of us, humans who continue to purchase dogs from pet stores and over the internet when we euthanize 5 million dogs a year in our shelters (20% of those purebreds). The madness needs to stop.
