I doubt that israel alone can be a threat to iran. Iran has been buiding up its miitary capabilities for the last 30 years, They are a lot stronger than egypt and syria were 50 or 60 years ago (those countries that had just got out of colonisation). So I don't think that israel alone will be stupid enough to try anything against iran.
