  • @jer1er The Entertainer lacks "identity" lol? It's once of his signature songs. If any song has identity it's that one.

  • @ryoko65 mine too!! pretty cool

  • OMG! I am a Billy Joel fan... but had no idea this song existed. THANK YOU for posting this! (my name is Roberta if you hadn't figured... lolz)

  • This song makes me think how close he was to finding his true self as an artist that would emerge on Turnstiles. Roberta and Last of the Big Time Spenders are the real gems of this album. The other songs are interesting but lacking his real identity.

  • @guysan It's not about a prostitute. It's about a stripper.

  • this song along with the killers "Mr. Brightside" always remindes me to never fall in love with a prostitute!!

  • i had a gf called roberta this song reminds me of her for some strange reason still miss her boo hoo

  • I ve always loved this song, hidden away on this underrated album.

  • @genuinebombayite "I see only what you're paid to show me", yes the stripper theory does make sense. This is a great song, and underrated album.

  • I think if you listen to the words carefully, you'll get that Roberta is a stripper not a prostitute.
