Hey, thanks for the answer. I have the newest MacBook pro from beginning of this year (15" 2.3ghz, 4gb ram, AMD Radeon 6750M)
Should be ok for this effekt.
I thought, it might be, because i didnt install it with bootcamp?!

Great tutorial Michael, you da man!
One question about allocating memory in Configuration.
I have 12 gigs of ram, and was thinking of setting the VM to 6 gigs.
But, the recommended value in my settings makes it look like going over 4 gigs will put you in the danger zone (red zone). Does that make sense?
Thanks for the rad video.

@deantendo I'm not sure how it bases its criteria for recommending memory to allocate, but I don't think you'll have a problem setting it to 6GB if you already have 12. I would just try it out and see what happens. If you start to see a degraded performance overall, then lower it, However do it in little increments so you can find the right balance for both the host and guest operating system.

hey man I installed everything like you showed. But when I switch to Fullscreen (like at 21:50) it doesnt give me the nice turning screen effect. :( do I something wrong? its Windows 7 on Parallels 7 only no bootcamp.
Thank you !

@Michio25 As far as I know, this "cube" effect is a standard default. I don't think there is a way to enable or disable it as far as I know, but I'll double check.... Also, you're video card may not have proper support for 3D hardware acceleration. Which Mac do you have and what year is it?
