@MrEvilLunchBox That would be interesting , but the gap is large enough that the aerodynamics would not allow the chevy to overcome the cobra at the end of the 1/4. Beyond the 1/4 the zr1 would beat the cobra as 150mph and above approach.

@Robert111 A Porsche 3.6 also makes a lot less torque and requires a lot more more tuning(read as money). The Corvette may have sucked for a long time, but the new ZR1 consistently posts lap times that rival or beat cars 2 or 3 times more expensive(at least in more expensive in America, where a ZR1 runs about half as expensive as the 119,990 pounds stated previously). I'm not particularly a fan of Chevy or the Corvette, but the new generation ZR1s and Z06s deserve respect for what they can do.
