The whole world hates us. Even my good Australian friend refers to the US as "the most despised country on earth". Some people here don't seem to care, but I miss the days when we enjoyed the respect and admiration of other nations. Obama has vowed to earn back some of that love. McCain never mentioned it except to say that America had nothing to apologize for. I think we have much to apologize for. Listen to his Berlin speech and you'll see one reason I support him.

Obama will at least have americans, no matter in what financial state, on a level playing field. I have to say, i cannot believe how the hell bush got presidency, although McCain can't be any worse, i am all for "change".

now what obama wants to do is what the french do(with his taxs plan and military plan).i did a study on two men both making 50,000 a year,one in franch and the other in america.after all the taxes the american made 18,000 more not inculding the other taxes like gas tax and sales tax which are much higher in franch.also if you look at goverment own and private companys and how much they spend and waste(like meddacare and nasa)the goverment companys waste much more.

thanks for the reply.well first off i'm not trying to prove you wrong or anything.well what will he change that you want?also the economy was doing great until 2006 when the dem's toke congress.and the fanny and freddy was made by clinton after he made a law so people who couldnt buy house able by telling the banks the goverment would buy up bad loans and thats how the economy got bad not bushs,bushs tryed to stop franny and freddy but congress didnt listen.
