(Sorry, out of characters) I would also say I like to listen to Extreme Power metal, but it´s only a self-proclaimed title for Dragonforce. I found this band by accident (As I found half my metal band listing) and I just have to say they totally rock. There are a lot of bands that are´t recognized world-wide but can show they can play really good too, so don´t go there insulting other genres (Except for Justin Bieber XD JK) just because you don´t listen to them.

Ok... I´ve seen the latest comments and I just have to say something: I don´t like listening to Death or Black metal because of their lyrics or how they sing, because I just don´t like it, it´s my taste, but There´s no way of saying those bands don´t have talent. I mean, It´s not easy to play guitar, drums, bass and even sing like that (Trust me, I sometimes liek to make fun of that way of singing with jokes XD Don´t misunderstand XD). My favorite metal genre it´s Speed, power, and progressive.

well... ima negative, and what people say... "fukt up" and shit.. so this music fits me perfectly, and even so, i just appreciate the vocals for metal... the music... the originality.. just everything... is so damn impressive... but yea... i can see what you mean... it's just you're opinion, as i have mine...

My God... another person stating they have no talent... my god... i don't want to start another argument... but saying bands like Whispered, Dark Tranquillity, Skyfire, Illnath, Fall of Serentiy, Lyfthrasyr and soo much more have no talent? just check out Equlibrium or Whispered... and say they have no talent...

No, I don't hate other forms of metal. I don't listen to them as much now because I feel that the message they put out is too negative for my taste. I prefer something a little more positive than talking about death all the time. (Not putting down any band or person.)

The only similarity between death metal and progressive metal is the word "metal." Musically, they are no where near the same thing and incomparable. Smartguy561 is right, the depth of composition and virtuousity of progressive music reflect far more musical talent than any other metal genre. It's kind of a shame bands like Dreamtale are even called "metal," because they end up being lumped together with angry, screaming psychos who have no talent and overlooked as legitimate musicians.
