Pokemon Battle Revolution - July 26 11

Curse Room...

This has got to be the longest absence I've had from You Tube overall. My life has completely changed, which only a select few of you are aware. Not really gonna go into too much detail about what's changed, all you really need to know is that things have become far more important than You Tube!

With that done and said, I present to you a new team that relies solely on Trick Room. Now I know from previous comments particularly those relating to my "Tykes" pass that Trick Room teams are a "bore". Despite what hidden strategies I have with this team, I doubt it will appeal to most people, but that's their problem. As most of you know I try to make a battle as interesting as possible without having to complicate too much.

The team I'm facing in this video is indeed a Trick Room team as well. When I saw Snorlax I instantly assumed Belly Drum and Psych Up. The fact that I'm prepared enough to handle such threats is a little hard to describe. Instead I'll let the video illustrate exactly what I mean.

I chose: Banette, Torkoal, and Hitmonchan
Opponent used: Duscnoir, Snorlax, Machamp and Ampharos

i ADMIRE you for using Torkoal <3 they're one of my all time favs :3 and seriously seem to be UU in a lot of battle i see.

@yourlilemogirl - Torkoal is an incredible physical wall as well as a decent special and physical attacker. I consider Torkoal to be a very reliable Pokemon in most cases. The only poor aspect about Torkoal is it's speed, other than that it's a fantastic Pokemon to have.

the use of the iron ball to counteract the trick room strategy really caught me off-guard too! I'd love to see more of that!!

@ShujiKame - Iron Ball I find should normally be used towards the end of a Trick Room. When facing Pokemon with a base 90 speed, there's really no need to save it. Very reliable item to Trick on to the likes of levitating or flying foes ;-}
