  • I'm only 25 but I first heard this song a day or so after my grandmother died in august of '08 and I walked around humming it for days after. I'm just now finding it on July 8,2009 and its her bday...how ironic!!!!!!!!! this is truly good music!!!

  • RECESSION-WORTHY.....How is that we live in one of the richest countries in the world, and people are homeless? The USA is horrible!!!

  • @ppcheer I cry too everytime.....and I've also been homeless, so this hits home!

  • This song is about the homeless, but it is emphasizing on how people become homeless; which is through a number of ways - economic hardship, mental-illness, etc. & when young women allow drug-dealers in their homes and they take over because they paid them, and children are in the house therefore the mother is trying to keep them safe, So they leave and are out on the streets, and go to the shelter, because family members won't take them in, and then all of the drama begin throughout their life.
