Wachet auf, ruft uns die Stimme, BWV 140, also known as Sleepers, Wake, is a cantata written in 1731 by Johann Sebastian Bach.[1] It is scored for horn, 2 oboes, taille (an instrument similar to the oboe da caccia, today often substituted with an English horn), violino piccolo, violin, viola, basso continuo, and choir with soprano, tenor, and bass soloists.

Matthew & Stuart have arranged this incredible piece for Classical Guitar & Organ, this footage is taken from their first ever concert together, the venue is The Caird Hall, Dundee, where Stuart is the City Organist.

Wonderful performance! Superb guitar playing accompanied by the matchless Harrison & Harrison organ. Wish there was more of this music on Youtube. Love to hear the organ played solo, especially the Concerto in C by Alfred Hollins.
