@dinydoo yes because it's only "young" singers who "mish mash" their words. Have you never listened to Bob Dylan? Tom Waits? Elton John? It's a specific style. The only musician who is ever really required to enunciate perfectly is a musical theatre performer. She doesn't have to put emphasis on the lyrics or the music. That's the point. It flows together and creates a feeling. It's about both elements intertwining and neither taking precedence. If you want to analyze the lyrics look them up.
