It is a simple pulse motor setup that stores the BEMF from the drive coil into a capacitor, then I use a 2nd reed to take that charge and pulse it into a secondary coil, of which the 2nd coils bemf is stored into another capacitor. Using 2.5v on the drive, we get about 25v into the first cap. Then the second coils bemf is stored into a 2nd cap giving about 270v. How many volts will a 3rd stage give? 2500v? =]

The rotor spins very fast and is a bit noisy. But I think you will get what is going on. Ill try to do a cleaner vid tomorrow. Sweet, aint it?

    The next vid will be the same setup but bigger caps and a big dog 16ga 1ohm audio crossover coil in the second stage and till producing 270v running from the first stage cap charge. Now thats a load. =]
