The Corset Spine is another variation on the Endless Falls tying technique. Generating a look similar to the lacing along the spine of a corset (thus the ties name), the Corset Spine generates a crisscrossed weaving pattern like no other fusion tie before. On account of its "elastic" structure, the tie has the additional benefit of not over tightening when wet, or when the wearer's wrist expands during a long days hike.

  • Thank you so much for so skillfully teaching

Us how to tie these amazing graceful and mesmerizing knots! I have an OCP in which I must keep my hands busy all the time. So, I knit, crochet, paint, craft and now I tie also. Your skillful hands bring me to tears as I watch your fingers dance to the music. I find it soothing and therapeutic.

  • @777sgiles - I get that, thanks, and you're welcome. *smile*

  • JD, when I ordered the 450 paracord, it arrived to me flattened due to the pressure it received to save space on the wool.. Please tell me if you ever had this issue, and what can be done?

Thumbs up everyone so JD can see it please?

  • @perfect1oNN - 450 paracord is flatter than 550 paracord on account it has less internal strands (about 4) than 550 (usually about 7). On account of its flatter nature, 450 is more pliable and easier (for me) to work with than 550 . On account most people are more used to the look and feel of 550 , 450 can look and feel strange. But its just as capable as 550 in creating the ties I and others show here on YouTube and elsewhere on the net.

  • @frunlakiso2 - I wear Carolina (steel toe) engineering boots. Ironically, I haven't tied laced shoes in years.

  • @clubpenguinfan1325 A hank is a bundle of cord wrapped in paper, as opposed to a spool.

  • @clubpenguinfan1325 - I don't work for (not paid by) VTArmyNavy. I just purchase their cord. The 10% discount link is in support of community, only. You'll have to check in with them regarding the details you're looking for.

  • I have difficulty following your knot endings :\

Otherwise, I love all of your videos!

    Appreciate the uploads!

  • Much to my neglected boyfriend's dismay, I spent hours learning your tying techniques, and the music is wonderful too. My latest is this one, with desert camo and tan colors. Thanks for letting me, an old sailor's daughter, make him proud of my knotty-ness.

  • JD, Do you ever do ropework like boatwains mate/salior type ropework? And if so, could you post a few videos about it?
