MineCraft: Lava and Water Rivers

I'm working on this Project in Minecraft they are lava and water rivers that flow side by side respectively and then drain into their own pools I do have trouble with the water freezing since im in a Snowy Biome but I spent a long time trying to find it so im staying xD
