8mmフィルムで撮影したスコータイのアチャナ仏とアッターロ仏
The Sukhothai kingdom was an early kingdom in the area around the city Sukhothai, in north central Thailand.
This 8mm film's image of the seated Buddha called "Phra Atchana" at Wat Sri-Chum Temple is over 15m (45 feet) high and is one of the largest and most imposing Buddha statues in Thailand. The statue is sometimes called the "Talking Buddha," since according to a local legend it is capable of speech. Next image, it's large (12.5m) standing Buddha called "Phra Attharot" at Wat Saphan Hin temple.
