I couldn't find a single upload of this song in its album version on Youtube. Almost all were live recordings. This ghazal has been sung by the likes of Mehdi Hassan, Ghulam Ali, Jagjit Singh, Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan. But to me, this is the best version. Its dark, brooding and I love it that way! Perhaps one of the best ghazals Hariharan has ever sung. The lyrics are in the video. Hope you enjoy it! :)

there is not much in terms of melody in hariharanji's rendition. disappointing. good singing wasted on a jumbled up piece of music. cnat believe the same singer sang the masterpiece shahar dar shahar.
pls. listen to raees khans rendition. though he eats up his words, the sur is far out.. full of melody.

@vatsalasankar A search on google is all it takes. I can assure you there are lots of links on the first page itself from where you can download this song. Unfortunately I cannot post the link here as it is illegal to do so on Youtube. I hope you will understand. :)
