Chavez idolizes Cuba's Fidel Castro, is chummy with Libya's Moammar Khadafy and was a Saddam Hussein pal.

truthadvocate, It's ironic that the same people who put so much passion in their standing behind the Oil dictator in Venezuela and behind Iran's right to build nuclear weapons and missiles are just as passionate about their concern that the US is "destroying" the environment with our dependency on oil and their passion against building nuclear plants which is the cleanest source of energy we could have today. Chavez is also friendly with Iran's Ahmadinijad as well (which means down the road if Iran is not stopped, he might help Chavez with a nuclear program). Sad so many idiots here in the US call Bush a dictator but give this evil man a free pass (or even praise him).

Very interesting how Chavez used "Wag the Dog" to hide the repression. How Liberals in the U.S. can praise Chavez is beyond reason. His consolidation of power and the brutal atrocities prove that his desire is to be a brutal Dictator.
