Fasting for Yahweh

There is nothing admirable about starving yourself close to death.

Youtube user "Aaroncohen" went without food for a total of 123 days to improve her relationship with an imaginary creature -- god. She went 40 days without food, only drinking water and taking a daily multi-vitamin. This was followed by a week eating strictly Kosher Passover foods, and then the process was repeated twice again. "Aaroncohen" recorded a number of video diary entries chronicling her experience - this is a brief summary of the results.

6 months after putting herself through this deplorable ordeal, Aaroncohen fell pregnant with her 8th child (see http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YFbvOAbhcT8). I think it is unlikely her body recovered from near death in that time, thus placing the baby at risk.

I am somewhat confused as to what Aaroncohen's religion actually is. She refers to Kosher Passover food (which indicates Jewish), but in conversation on my first ever video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2HWVkS2g7xo) she refers to herself as Christian. Make up your own mind.

Moderation in all things. Anything good can be taken to extremes. This lady has certainly done that. I fast 2 a month skipping 2 meals. This is plenty.

this isn't the way the Bible goes about fasting it says fast in secret and God will reward you openly and says that people will disfigure and mask themselves to make it seem they are to others and if they do it openly like this they have their reward whatever they got in doing so.

I don't understand why she needed to fast three CONSECUTIVE times. That appears to be extremely unhealthy.
