An incredible scene, from a incredible movie. You can smell the dystopia through the whole movie...and the thing is, it makes you wanna be a part of it.

This scene, I think, is symbolic of an ascention into heaven, as the dove flies from his arms, up into the sky. The dove was supposed to be the 'spirit' of Roy Batty. It was just done with such reverance, that I feel that is what Ridley Scott was trying to say. It just makes you wonder, just how human WERE the replicants? Did they have souls? Do Androids Dream of Electric sheep? I feel that the answer is best left ambigous.
