Every good conservative cares about Reagan.

He raised cigarette taxes as one of the "multiple times" you listed, and he never once raised capital gains. Also, he negotiated with terrorists, yes, but compared to our current president BOWING to them, that's a pretty good idea. Also, he strengthened our economy. If you can't see that the unemployment dropped statistically, I have no idea what to tell you.

To be fair, Reagan ended up being terrible. Whitewash it all you want, Reagan negotiated with terrorists, raised taxes multiple times, and started the destruction of the middle class we see today.

I'm trying to figure out how this is bad-mouthing Reagan. He's talking about the American infatuation with "new." It's not a comment about Reagan at all. If anything, it could easily be taken as a insult aimed at the American people.

Oh, I forgot to mention, if Romney loses, in a perfect rightwing climate, 2012, every one of you who said we had to run a moderate to win should be stood up against a wall and shot.

Lol, he didn't badmouth Reagan at all, he just gave the standard advice to every vice president taking over after 8 years of their running mate...gotta strike out on your own.

Patriot Review must be a fanatical Mitt Romney stooge or something, to put up all these dumb, lame distortions so reminiscent of Romney's actual ads that he used in the campaign to win the nomination, which he has done. Romney tried to hide his liberal to moderate views behind a blizzard of money spent attackingothers

He's right. He's not saying it's a bad policy but America is all about change. Do you really think people thought Obama was the best person for the future? No. They voted for change. People don't even know what change they wanted, they just wanted things to be better and now they realized that change isn't in one person it is in the things that person stands for.

So what? Who gives an F about Reagon? Newt Gingrich is the most viable candidate on the scene right now, and that's just sad.

If Gingrich wasn't so corrupted as a fairly progressive independent I can say Newt could have been one of the visionaries in American history.

Of course the battles with Clinton didnt help him and this campaign destroyed his legacy but he truly is one of the greater minds of American politics. Sad to watch what he's become though.
