A summer enjoyment growing up was attending Hyannis Mets games of the Cape Cod Summer League. The field was close enough to the house that we could walk or ride bikes up to McKeon Park, and in those early years they played day games until lights were finally installed in 1983.

  • If I was gonna take a road trip to check out some cape league games, what's the best town to visit? i wanna go out somewhere with cool bars and lots of girls. any suggestions??

  • Personally I'd have to say Hyannis actually .. McKeon Park is within walking distance of the corner of Main Street and Ocean Street which is right where the boat docks are. You've got a number of choices for nightlife around there .. and you are an easy car ride heading towards Yarmouth, another area I used to hang out.
