Crochet Lesson 3 - Single Crochet

Lesson 3 - We begin the foundations and starting points of crochet by showing you each stitch step by step. In this tutorial you will learn how easy it is. We begin by reviewing how to chain again and then single crocheting on top of the chain. Make sure you don't throw out this sample after this tutorial. We are going to continue to build onto this sample in the next several tutorials. Our goal is for you to have a Swatch that shows you all the different sizes of stitches from Single Crochet to Triple Crochet. SIngle Crochet in pattern books is known as SC.

thank you Mikey for doing these videos. I'm new at crocheting and self taught. I'm learning with your help how to hold the yarn properly as I crochet. I'm a lefty and it's a little difficult for me. your hook of in, pull through, pull through two is a big help. Can't wait until lesson 4

i think mike start before  8 but i got the impression he was 14 when he took it seriousy, as it seem to me he was lonley, with nothing do one day but that just my opion, i thin start young is always good my late great aunt showed me how to do it but u till now i have to admit i wasnt good at it ie big holes

wow i started crocheting when i was 8. , but up till now i only ever did one stich and didnt no where i was going wrong , thank u. xx bthe way what wooll is in the video there are lots of sugar and cream but i like this one, may be you need list the full wool details etc with the lesson episodes thanks happy Christmas to both u and Dan and of course the cats and any other pets

@cometmoon I am a stalker and sifted through his garbage.....just kidding of course. Yes he said it in the first video. He talked about how he got into crotchet as a kid with his mom and he said it was when he was 14.
