  • Sounds like the Magnaflow

  • @VayLoc310 not really.

  • you part of the ta club of america?

  • @andrewkinter1 nope

  • Nice sound. Quick questions. I have a 94 a Formula and am about to purchase the LM1 system. Is it necessary to purchase the installation kit they sell with it? I believe it was an additional $120.00?

  • @jwm923 SLP site has details. your car is an LT1 right? just make sure you go to the LT1 section. For the LS1 the installation kit only is needed for the v6, i thnik

  • @STLATF it's an american muscle car it's built for speed not mpg's lolol

  • @stlatf I also have gotten 26 mpg out of my 2000 ls1 Camaro. They don't suck down premium fuel. That's pretty damn good if you ask me.

  • @jwm923 I have a 94 TA with a LM1. You will need the installation kit. I think summit racing had the kit for $79. It was a few years back when I bought it, so the price might have gone up. Good luck.

  • @STLATF

    I get 25-27mpg 50% city/50% highway

00 ls1 with lts ory lid tune etc

  • @gsamuel42 thats a bullshit lie. maybe 26-29 on a flat highway going 60-65 mph but besides that hello 15-20 mpg at best.

i have an 04 gto with KnN cold air and loudmouth 2 exhaust.

i am hopefully getting it tuned by redline as soon as i have 350 bucks to spare to try and get way more power and mpg's. ls1's guzzle down the premium fuel

  • @gsamuel42 yes it is completely unheard of for someone to accidentally add a letter to a word, Get over it.

  • @Rhyno430 I'm not too sure how you can have a typo on cams but if you want to say that, go right ahead. And the factory rating doesn't mean shit. These cars were under-rated in nearly every aspect, some of the 00-02 car leaving the fastory with an LS6 intake and some eve with an LS6 block were pushing near 340 to the crank with stock LS1 internals, i.e. your CAM, pistons, etc. I have a 1999 Trans Am with an LS6 intake, LS6 valley cover, pacestter longtubes and true duals and get 28 mpg all day

  • @gsamuel42, it has always baffled me why one must play the role of the superior on the internet. Lets see, first off, 23 mpg is very good considering the car stock from factory is only rated at 17/25. As far as the cams thing, a typo, but i guess if you feel the need to pointlessly proclaim your self the superior internet guy whatever good for you. It only took a year for you to find that typo.

  • @Rhyno430 first off moron, the LS1 only has 1 cam and 23 mpg is not very good, whoever tuned that must not know how to work with a cammed....i mean 2 cammed LS1, must be a real rare motor man, should ship it off to barret-jackson and see what that bad boy fetches

  • Yeah man sounds awesome!!!
