How to: Jailbreak a 2.0 iPodTouch/iPhone

How to:

- 1) First create a custom IPSW using the IPSW Builder.
- 2) Click "Ipwner" and browse for the custom IPSW that you just created. This will pwn itunes and allow you to flash
Custom IPSW files via DFU mode
- 3) Once you have pwned Itunes, put your phone into DFU mode. If you don't know how to do this click
Here.
- 4) Once you are in DFU mode Itunes will pop up and then you can hold shift and click restore and browse to your custom IPSW file.

Done!

YOU MUST REMOVE ANY VERSION OF WINPWN 1.x.x.x BEFORE INSTALLING WINPWN 2.0.0.1 AND HAVE ITUNES 7.7

Hello my friend...

I would want to know from you, if you are able to tell me what am I supposed to do now that my iphone is no longer working. I made a mistake to try to update the phone through the REESTORE buttom. Now the phone has a saying like this "Please connect to Itunes" and it does not turn off neither on anymore. Are you able to tell me what should I do? The phone is on that mode strange mode.

for this to work to need to be an administrator on your computer, or if your on vista right click on winpwn and click run as administrator

Umm what im i surpose to do: i put my ipot into DFU mode i shift restore it and then when it fnishes restores my ipod it says unable to restore ipod (erroe 1600)
