RROD is an intended feature. It isolates damage so it doesn't die outright, so don't worry about the hype, unless you don't want to keep your stuff in good repair and just want to go get a new one.... I did that once, but my RR'd box was about 1000 miles away, so... meh. I'm not a GSWhore, RR is not the end of the world, or gaming... My PC dominates most of my gaming time anyhow. XB gets a moderate amount of usage.

Treat it well, and it will be worth any cost you pay.
