@SpacePyro you play tenors or bass dont you? even so, a snare is compiled of pure rudiments, so a "battle" is only rudiments and backsticking in such because they could do rudiments back and forth no problem, [they should be able to anyways] but the backstick accents and flams incorperated into rudiments is what gives them the victory. or the loss. as in tenors u have multiple drum its mainly about sound and or "groove", and basses its all about timing with your line. ive played all 3 in my line

@SpacePyro yea ur right,they dont usually have any real notes,just the ties,rolls,flams(like u said*duh lol*),and they can also use rim shots.Thats how our school does them sometimes
