@tsainthilaire Dead and dieing.. 2 seperate definitions dude. As I Lay Dying, ABR are both bands dating back to the 'original' sound and I listen to them frequently. Ask any record label my friend signing new Metalcore bands is becoming less and less frequent, and the recent popularity of the new form of Metalcore is nothing in comparison that of the orginal sound.
Apparently I reckon Metalcore bands with keyboards are synth-pop now.. Did I say that?

@WeAreRomansMusic Metalcore is far from dead. Ever heard of As I Lay Dying, August Burns Red, Between The Buried And Me? The former two having released their 6th and 4th albums this year respectively. Meanwhile, Metro Station, Hellogoodbye and all those other bands that you sound like 'have no go' in them. (One hit wonders that have one more hit than you might I add, so mocking them is redundant.) I suppose by your logic Abigail Williams is synth-pop/metacore too. They have a keyboardist.

@tsainthilaire hahaha HOLD UP. Just had to have a giggle after realising what you actually said... Metalcore has been a dieing genre for more than 5 years.. Tooth and Nail stopped any major signing of metalcore bands around then because there wasnt any go in it. The NU-Metalcore is pretty much synth-pop i.e your metro station band mixed with Metalcore. If you are still a fan of it all you are obviously 14 - 16 years old with an emo fringe or shaved head and plug earrings... I feel for ya.

@tsainthilaire Thanks for the heads up mate. This vid was done a few years back our music and style has progressed alot since. Check out Skrillex if you havent already and see how he is tracking. "Electronic music" is still well alive and kicking. P.S who is metro station and watchout! theres ghosts?? Sound like a bunch of girls that are one hit wonders..... Chur

@WeAreRomansMusic pity you guys bailed before it got super popular. because the synth-pop/pop-emo thing died with metro station and watchout! theres ghosts.
the main riff reminds me of the breakdown in blue42 from haste the day :) cool song!
