Difference between the two is that Christianity does not call to violence, most of the time (arguably), its preventing by promoting peace

On the other hand islam doesnt prmotoe beheading people who convert away from it, most of it is just mis-interprates it for punishment. Which you find most fanatics are doing.

The discussion remy started reminded me of the movie "THE WALL" pink floyd.

But yeah I like these guys and how their fairly refined with their open minded views and points, to bad I didn't have this sorta influence in my earlier youth, but I managed to step up on my own eventually at least.

i must agree b/c people choose to interpret religion in a kinda of fanatic way that leads people judge others for what they believe rather then who they are as people.

The fact is mainstream religions are subject to interpretation, and that paired with the fact that these people think they have all the answers to life is not a good combination. Relgions such as Islam/Christianity teach against being open minded. And so in my opinion you cant be true to everything the bible or the qur'an says and also be a good person.

I agree that its ultimately down to being tolerant of one anothers beliefs, however religions such as Islam specifically teach the opposite of this, and the people who are involved with these religions who are tolerant, are going against or overlooking certain areas of the religion to do so.
