Ski joring-- Skier pulled by galloping Belgian horse navigates a race course, goes over jumps and catches rings with his forearm-- timed and scored competitions, racers travel up to 40 mph (but not behind THIS horse! He's trying really hard, but drafts are just not built for speed!) Described as extreme winter sport, New London NH Jan. 31, 2009 NESJA US Open Competition (New England Ski Joring Assoc.) On campus of Colby-Sawyer college. Divisions for Open, Junior, Pee Wee, include local and national competitors.
