Hidden within a city, a small patch of forest protects a stream where wild coho salmon come to spawn. Preserved by the North Coast Land Conservancy, the impressive struggle for life takes place just out of view of the surrounding development.

  • Very nice. The Guadalupe River at the south end of San Francisco Bay flows through the heart of Silicon Valley. It has mercury contamination from the Gold Rush era and modern pollution. Yet, there is a small salmon run up the river every year. Steelhead also spawn there. Life is very tenacious. Thanks for a great video!

  • This video is just amazing. It would be a great educational video.

  • This is the best natural salmon video that I have seen so far. Keep up the great work :)

  • What cameras did you use to shoot this amazing footage? Great work! :)
