Jumper show with Ami!

Ok, 2'3" pulled that skinny rail. Trotted a jump. It wasn't the best round. A lot of people pulled that skinny.

2'6" we went clear. Moved onto the speed round. But since that is just awful its not getting posted. Hahaha. Then I tried to edit the pics to the music but it failed. Oh well.

Anyways Ami was super. As always. I did my first triple bar and first skinny. Ami was pretty much like "just hold on. i'll do the rest" I had a mild heart attack when I saw those jumps on course and my trainer wasn't at the show with me... My friend met me there and helped me but when I realized how easy the jumps were it wasn't as awful. The skinny was hard weird turn and she's hard to keep straight but it was fun! I enjoyed the show :D Minus getting caught in the pouring rain. That sucked.

@lmurphyx21 Ok! I read the USEF Jumper rules and it said standing martingales are prohibited except it the class offers more the $500,000 or something.

Haha I know! The footing was wet too I was like "I rather not die or hurt my horse" It's crazy.

@lmurphyx21 Do you know if you're allowed to show in a standing martingale in jumpers. I need to use one on my pony and am wondering if you're allowed to show in jumpers with them on.

Lol, some trainers are like that. I like to go fast, but not to the point where I am jeopardizing my horse and myself. It's not worth the blue ribbon if I die trying to get it. Ponies make good jumpers! Sometimes not the best hunters and slow disciplines, but boy can they run.

@JumpingPerfection121 Ami is super fast too. (she can walk faster than some horses trot. no lie lol) But she got to heavy in the 2'6" So I couldn't push as much because I knew I wouldn't be able to make the turns. I had her bit on the loose ring not the elevator. I could have done it if I had the elevator but you don't have the time to change it out. Boo. There were some SUPER fast ponies. Scary fast. I thought a pony was going to flip on a kid. And the trainer kept yelling FASTER FASTER geez!
