  • my god. I love how much cheaper bikes are than cars. You basically just changed your oil.

  • Hey- could you just soak a rag in degreaser and run the chain thru it or do you really need the chain cleaner?

  • Yes....Have you ever got your ponytail caught up in the chain whilst de-greasing.... and if so how did you remedy this situation?

  • I prefer non organic.

  • Yes, my question is, do you have your father or mother's eyes?

  • Thanks a lot man! A very helpful tutorial. Im about to clean my chain just now. I really like your advices for using ecological materials, and i respect you for that!

  • @norbu1987 A general lubricant would be waxy or greasy but bike chain lubricants are different (ie not waxy and with little greasy properties) because they are exposed to dirt. A greasy or waxy lube would pick up AND RETAIN the dirt particles, allowing dirt to mix within itself and thereby possibly penetrating the links. A more water-like lube would just slough it away. This is why chain lube and general bike lube are 2 different things with 2 different properties.

  • Helpful video, thank you.

Next time, turn the music down while people are talking. That'd be even more helpful.

  • @jsblgb65 you might want to get your hearing checked, I heard him just fine.

  • its kinda all chemical based which might rust or eat the chain and wont live long and i don't understand why lubricator looks like water coz it might dry soon-isn't lube should be little wax or greasy- which might stay longer and smoother.

  • @asored2000 obvious but unfortunately not. Because the gunk that really wears the chain is that which starts to get in between the links and also that which has formed as a thick paste. the chain cleaner has a good brushes forcing onto it, which really helps work all this out. Hope this answers your question.

  • the thing falls off cuz u go fucking fast
