[Runescape] 18 Aug 2011 Riots - "Refer-a-Friend" W66

READ THIS: The riot was because Jagex added an update (link - article is still shitty as of day of riot but oh well - http://runescape.wikia.com/wiki/Refer_A_Friend_Programme) which is pretty much tantamount to giving RWT (real-world-trading) a big fat hug and patting the bots on their backs encouragingly and reassuring them that the actual players of the game won't ever get priority over the honest bots who get big fat exp bonuses with their stolen credit card infos and their lovely dragon med helms.

This is most retarded riot ever! What is fagex supposed to do? Shutdown rs? They can't stop bots, they lost that war long ago. Removing free trade again for which 91% ppl agreed to bring back, wouldn't stop bots only reduced them as Chinese ppl would bot just bot on and then sell "money mules" or bot on costumer's account.

runescape is crap now with all these new updates the old runescape was a classic when you would have to rich to have dragon claws or ags

@AnimaDon24 AGS (mid 2007) and Claws (late 2008) are both fairly new items, hardly "old RuneScape". Back when D Chain was still considered pro was really fun :)

Fagex still did not stop bots completely there is still botting going around except there is less, but there are more and more bots as each day passes, soon you will be able to notice them everywhere. Just stop playing this shit game.

@cilibinarii My point was that each person has a different view of meaning of word "old rs" For some old rs is 01 or 04 for me its 06 for some its 07 for some its 09,... and so on. RS any in any time shift is a primitive game IMO. RSPV any of it is just a rip of the rs game that most things doesn't work properly and are for mentally challenged. RS basics are still same than in 04 its only graphically improved. If you want rs to be a different game, then you should play another game.
