  • Thank you for this Stasha! You're awesome! This is what I've been speculating awhile now. I have narcolepsy+possible sleep apnea+insomnia (wake numerous times during the night). My vit D level is near deficient @ 36. Also recently dx'd w/mild hypothyroidism (4.9). Yesterday I was thinking vit D MUST have some connection to thyroid function. My reasoning: We make vit D from the sun, sun=energy, thyroid controls energy! I'm confident when my D level is normal everything else will fall into place!

  • Conspiracy, yes. They would set the FDA to 1 IU/day of vitamin D if they could. Hey why not, more profits right? Grrrr.
