What was even more impressive was that he went the entire upper tier of questions without an available lifeline to use, having used his last ones at $32,000, which was the first time a $1,000,000 winner had done that.

The faster finger question is always really hard. I've never known one. I'm surprised anybody who gets it loses on the relatively easy money questions!

@Kaiwano: They don't use Fastest Finger anymore, but yeah, they use pretty tough questions. I've seen FFF questions in the original UK version, and they're something like "Put these instructions for baking a chocolate cake in order" or "Put these phases of a shuttle launch in order." The regular questions seemed easier to me as well.
